For a small country grocery store service and products from the city. They had the best, freshest corn long before anyone else in area. All staff attentive to customers' needs and wants.

Nice grocery store. Very good produce section! Deli is good too with competitive pricing.

I have been here many times to grab some groceries for my step grandmother. They have a great deli!! The sandwiches are really good and bread has always been fresh!! I'm not particularly a fan of their macaroni salad though. This is a cute store and totally what the area needs since shoprite and Walmart are about 20-25 minutes away. Everyone I have spoken to here has been nice and helpful, the store is usually pretty well stocked, even during the pandemic last year. Prices though are much more expensive than shoprite and Walmart but I do have to say that Pecks has better, more fresh quality meats than shoprite and definitely better than Walmart!

We love this market! We moved up here a couple of years ago and it really is the lifeblood of the community. Great options, always stocked properly and the staff is wonderful. Don't listen to anyone else on Yelp... Give these folks your business!

We love this little gem of a country grocery store! The meat and their salad are fresh and good quality. The people are friendly and the price is unbelievably good!

I cannot say enough about this great little God-send. We bought a house in Lackawaxen, and we were traveling 40 minutes to Weis Market. I was happily surprised when we found Peck's. Clean store, friendly employees, low prices! I'll be back!!!

Peck's! I love you! No, it isn't like a NYC grocery store, but these guys really try hard. This small, family owned chain of five or 6 grocery stores understands the communities it serves, and caters to them, but really tries hard to accomodate the new people moving into the area. Now, this is Sullivan County, NY. You would think the produce would be killer, and honestly, sometimes I wonder why they don't do more to carry more seasonal local produce, but on the whole, I really think they try. I almost fell off my flipflops one day two years ago when I looked for barbecue sauce. They carry Dinosaur BBQ Sauce!!!! Now, I am not saying that it is the best sauce in the world, but a small, noted BBQ restaurant in Syracuse selling sauce to a tiny chain of markets in the hinterland of the Catskills made me happy. Some Peck's are bigger than others, This location, in Eldred, is on the small side, but it offers lots of deli items, premade food that isn't half bad at all, good coffee, lots of meat to grill, and on Thanksgiving Day two years ago, when the turkey farmer at the turkey farm completely flaked out and forgot to save a turkey for us, Peck's had one, defrosted and ready to go, whe nwe rushed in upset and afraid we would be roasting chicken legs instead of a noble bird. Peck's offers other locations in Jeffersonville, Callicoon, Livingston Manor and Narrowsburg. One thing to note, if you're into civil disobedience, is that a few years ago there was a huge flap when one of the career clerks was discovered to be "spotting" customers for the .50 for the newspaper. She was fired. The local leftie paper, The River Reporter ( a great paper by the way) took up her cause, and now Peck's won't carry the River Reporter. You can find it millions of other places, though.
